What Does Medicare Cover for Assisted Living?

Medicare continues your health insurance coverage and pharmaceutical coverage at a senior living community, but it will not pay for monthly facility costs. Medicaid, a federal and state program, may help pay for certain services, but you must meet federal and state requirements.
